These terms cover work done by Based Studio (“we”, “us”) for you, our client. Starting work with us, or paying an invoice, means you agree to them.
What we do
We offer social media management, website development, local SEO and branding. What is included in your work is whatever we agreed in writing on WhatsApp or by email before starting — that written agreement comes first if it ever disagrees with this page.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in Pakistani rupees (Rs) and exclude any taxes that may apply.
- Monthly services are billed monthly in advance.
- One-off work, such as a website or branding, is billed 50% to start and 50% on delivery.
- Payment methods: Bank transfer or Easypaisa.
- If an invoice is unpaid for 7 days we may pause work until it is settled.
Contract length and cancelling
Month to month. Cancel any time, with no notice period and no cancellation fee.
If you cancel partway through a paid month, we finish that month. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Approvals
Nothing goes live until you have seen it and said yes. We will send work for approval and wait for your reply. If we do not hear back within 3 working days on scheduled content, we may publish what was already agreed in the plan so your schedule does not fall behind.
What we need from you
- Access to the accounts we are working on, or an admin invite.
- Photos, logos, menus, prices and any other material we agreed you would supply.
- Replies within a reasonable time so the work can keep moving.
- Confirmation that you own, or have permission to use, anything you send us. You are responsible for that material.
Revisions
Each piece of work includes 2 rounds of changes. Beyond that, or for a change of direction after approval, we will quote before doing the work.
Who owns the work
Once you have paid in full, the finished work we made for you is yours: posts, designs, website files and brand assets. We keep ownership of our own internal templates and working files. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
Third-party platforms
We work on platforms we do not control, including Meta (Instagram and Facebook), Google and WhatsApp. We cannot promise any particular reach, ranking, follower count or sales, and we are not responsible for changes those platforms make, or for an account being restricted or suspended by them.
Liability
We do our work carefully, but to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to our work is limited to the amount you paid us for the service the claim relates to in the 3 months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. If a change materially affects ongoing work, we will tell you before it applies to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi have jurisdiction.
